Medics lift John Crouch into the plane for Casevac
The image above shows a group of soldiers of all ranks, who are lifting John Crouch a badly burned collegue, into the aircraft that is about to medivac him to hospital. Allan Jones was a Sergeant at the time, he's the Medic in the white jacket holding up a saline drip. Click on the image to read what he has to say about the accident that befell him. Click on their photos to read their stories and some of the incidents that happened to the people they cared for.

The picture below shows the aircraft with John Crouch aboard about to take off. Allan Jones in his account of the incident was not aware of what happened to John after the aircraft carried him to his destiny. It is thought John Crouch survived his burns.
